Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - EP Lab

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Shift: 07:00 AM - 5:30 PM (4 days a week, 10-hour shifts) on various days
Patient ratio: 1:1
Responsibilities include preparing the environment, assessing patients, reviewing safety checklists, and monitoring patients during cardiac electrical impulse procedures
Charting system: EPIC
On-call requirement: 2 call days per week plus holiday shift call
No floating between units required
Scrub color provided

Required Experience and Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Lab experience, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Notes

Weekend shifts are not currently required but may change based on staffing needs
Candidates with employment gaps of 15+ days are considered new and must meet full requirements
Facility-specific orientation modules must be completed within the first two weeks of assignment
