Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - General

Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, Tuesday to Friday
Hours: Four 10-hour shifts per week (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Job Description

• Perform general ultrasound technology duties.
• Required registries:

  • Vascular (RVT)
  • Abdomen (ABD)
  • OB/GYN
• Scrub color: Any solid matching tops and bottoms.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Registries in Vascular (RVT), Abdomen (ABD), and OB/GYN.
• Experience as a Vascular Sonographer.
• Experience as an OB/GYN Sonographer.

Additional Information

• Onsite fit testing and AVADE training may be required if contract is extended.
• Facility requires passing a basic dysrhythmia exam with a minimum score of 84% (applicable to nursing staff; noted here for awareness).
• Missouri EDL search required within 30 days of start.
• Candidates must complete a facility-specific orientation quiz with a passing score of 84% or higher prior to start.
