Overview

Travel/Contract RN position in Salem, Oregon
13-week assignment
Start date: ASAP
Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
Ratios: 1:4–6
First-timers accepted
Every other weekend required, but not greater than every other
Locals accepted
Pending Oregon license accepted
No holiday RTO
RTO over 2 weeks needs approval
Clinician may float if needed, including to West Valley Hospital

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
IV insertion skills
Non-invasive airway management
Management of dysrhythmias
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
IMC experience

Unit Details

Med Surg / Tele unit
Very sick medical/surgical patients, from general medical non-tele up to IMC level
Nitro and Cardizem can be slightly titrated
Amiodarone

Additional Notes

Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Client may cancel up to 1 shift per 4-week assignment, 2 shifts per 8-week assignment, or 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
Scrub color: Royal Blue
Parking is free
