Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Opportunity

Job Overview

• May be assigned to an "Emergency Team" during events, requiring staying at the facility until the event passes or serving on a relief team.
• Must be comfortable with emergency event assignments as directed by the unit manager.
• Floating to other floors is required.
• Accommodates block scheduling in some instances.
• 12-hour shifts (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM), working every other weekend, no on-call, works holidays.

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only, RQI accepted. Renewal required if expiring within 30 days of start.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only, RQI accepted. Required for multiple nursing specialties including Critical Care Step-Down. Renewal required if expiring within 30 days of start.

Licensure

• Active Louisiana RN license or Compact License required upon submission.
• License verification must be current and renewed if expiring within 30 days of start.

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse

Additional Requirements

• Current/valid Driver’s License or government photo ID (color copy).

• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Apr 30).
• Photo for badge: recent, full color, passport-style photo required within 24 hours of booking.
• Employment application and skills checklist required; must include 7 years employment history with explanations for gaps.
