Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Opportunity
Location: Shreveport, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- May be assigned to an "Emergency Team" during events, requiring staying at the facility until the event passes or serving on a relief team.
- Must be comfortable with emergency event assignments as directed by the unit manager.
- Floating to other floors is required.
- Accommodates block scheduling in some instances.
- 12-hour shifts (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM), working every other weekend, no on-call, works holidays.
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only, RQI accepted. Renewal required if expiring within 30 days of start.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only, RQI accepted. Required for multiple nursing specialties including Critical Care Step-Down. Renewal required if expiring within 30 days of start.
Licensure
- Active Louisiana RN license or Compact License required upon submission.
- License verification must be current and renewed if expiring within 30 days of start.
Experience Requirements
