Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist with 1.5 years of experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- High school diploma or GED
Job Duties
- Lifting heavy items
- Transporting patients
- Cleaning and turning over rooms
Orientation / Start Details
- First 3 weeks of the contract are on first shift (9:00 AM–5:30 PM) for orientation and unit familiarization
Additional Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment
- Background check required before start
- Fingerprinting required before start
- Education verification required
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Fit mask clearance required within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Tdap vaccination/documentation required every 10 years
- TB screening required within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and flu documentation are required
- Drug screening required within 12 months of start
- Eye exam required within 1 year of start
- 2 references required
- Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
- Skills checklist required annually
