Job Overview

Role Summary

• Breast cancer screening and breast nodule/mass care
• Majority of work involves pre-op patients, OR procedures, care coordination, and follow-up
• Patient population includes general hematology/oncology cancer and surgery
• Common procedures include simple dressing changes and occasional blood draws

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• NIHSS
• Case Management experience within the last year
• 1 year of Case Management experience
• Care coordination
• Data Abstraction
• Experience with Epic

• Criminal background check is required within 1 year of start and must be updated annually
• Physical exam is required within 1 year of start and must be updated annually
• N95 mask fit testing is required within 1 year of start and must be renewed annually
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray is required within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination or accepted declination is required by 12/5
• Hepatitis B series or declination is required
• Hepatitis C titer is strongly preferred, but declination is accepted if necessary
• Tdap is required unless a pertussis titer showing immunity is provided
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation is required
• 9-panel drug screen is required within 1 year of start
• Signed HIPAA acknowledgement is required
• Signed confidentiality agreement is required within 72 hours of signing
• Signed unit-specific job description is required before start
