Registered Nurse — Med Surg / Telemetry

Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Auto offer with bi-weekly orientations
Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date
Patient ratio: 1:7–8
Float required
Weekend requirement: every other weekend or two weekends per month

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
Nephrology experience
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
2 supervisory references
7-year work history
Unit-specific skills checklist within the last year
Must pass color blind testing
Must complete medication test/pharmacology competency exam
Must complete competency exam
Must complete core competencies I, II, and III
Must complete dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
