NICU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Location: Columbus, Ohio
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 per week

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• 1 year of Level IV NICU experience
• 2 years of total Level III/IV NICU experience
• 2 professional references at submission, with at least 1 manager or supervisor reference
• Current government-issued photo ID
• Resume or application
• Unit-specific skills checklist

Job Responsibilities

• Float as needed to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, med-surg, BPD NICU, other specialties, and other campuses
• May occasionally float to ED
• Must be comfortable with frequent trach care and heavy parent involvement

Interview Process

• Two-step interview process
• Initial screening interview occurs within 24–48 hours of submission
• Second interview is determined by the NICU unit manager after review of RTO and screening feedback

Compliance Notes

• RTO must be added at time of submission
• Legal name must match license and certifications
• Temporary ID or temporary driver’s license is not acceptable
• Background check, fingerprinting, education verification, and other standard pre-start compliance items are required
