- Travel/contract position
- Day shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- 15-week contract
- Start date: 12/14
- Every other weekend required
- Must be willing to work holidays
- No requested time off for the first 2 weeks
- Maximum of 3 days requested time off
- EPIC familiarity required
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- NIHSS
- Experience with Epic

- General emergency department care for adult and pediatric patients
- Non-trauma emergency department
- Pediatric emergency department
- STEMI and stroke-certified facility experience
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Arterial line management
- Blood product administration
- Central line care/management
- Phlebotomy
- Starting IVs
- Continuous IV sedation
- IV vasopressors
- Procedural sedation administration
- CVA care
- ICP monitoring
- Neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, head injury
