Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Seattle, Washington.
- Based in ICU with care for Cardiac ICU patients and overflow from MICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU, with focus on cardiology.
- 13-week assignment.
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
- 36 hours per week.
- Unit has 23 staffed beds.
- Ratios: 1:2.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year.
- 2 years of critical care experience.
- One completed travel assignment.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- NIHSS.
- Experience with Epic.
- References must be from a direct supervisor, not a charge RN.
- First-time travelers are not accepted.
- Pending license is not accepted, but compact license is accepted.
- Must be flexible for every-other-weekend coverage.
- Floating to other ICUs and boarder areas should be expected.
Preferred
- TNCC.
- Experience in high volume, high acuity, teaching, and trauma facilities.
Additional Notes
- On-call is not required.
- Block scheduling is not accommodated.
- Locals are accepted.
- RTO should be no more than 6 days.
- Facility can call off 1 shift per 2-week pay period.
- Scrub color: Blue; facility provided as needed or own solid color.
