Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Sacramento, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Contract Length: 18 weeks


Job Description

  • Role involves working as an Interventional Radiology RN, partly in a recovery room with patients from deep organ biopsies and angiography cases.
  • Operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment.
  • Assist physicians during invasive diagnostic and guidance imaging procedures.
  • Educate patients on procedures, medications, contrast media, and biological effects to reduce anxiety.
  • Call required one night per week and every 4th weekend (Friday-Sunday), with rotating weekends.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California.
  • Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
