Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Unit Details

• Adult to geriatric patient population
• General Med Surg unit
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice
• Every other weekend
• One major holiday required if it falls during the assignment; two major holidays required if two fall during the assignment; two of three major holidays required if three fall during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

• Photo ID
• Background check must be complete before start
• Education verification required
• Skills checklist within 12 months
• 2 clinical references
• Verification of most recent employer
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
• TB questionnaire required
• Drug screen within 60 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination required
• Color blind testing
• Compliance must be complete before start

Work Setting Notes

• Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR are used in the unit
• Navy blue scrubs required
• RTO maximum: 7 days
• Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length
