Job Overview

• Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:00–20:30
• Weekend requirement: Rotating Saturdays, about once every couple of months
• On-call: As needed
• Patient volume: 10–15 patients per day
• First-time travelers: Accepted
• Local candidates: Accepted

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with 1 year of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT
• Active Virginia license in hand at start; temporary license is not accepted
• PACS skills
• Contrast administration skills
• 2 references
• Work history verification for 2 years

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT Advanced certification
• Philips equipment experience

Clinical Experience Needed

• MRI procedures involving:

  • head/neck
  • abdomen/pelvis
  • spine
  • musculoskeletal
  • diffusion
  • gradient echo imaging
  • image post-processing
  • MIP
  • MRP
  • spin echo imaging
  • surface coils
  • T1/T2 weighted images

Additional Notes

• No floating within scope
• Outpatient imaging setting
• Epic charting is used
