Medical Surgical RN Travel Contract

Overview

Location: Bristol, Tennessee
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
Weekly hours: 36
Schedule: 36/36 schedule

Work Expectations

1:7 patient ratio
Every other weekend and rotating holidays
No call
Floating to other units is required
First-time travelers are accepted
Permanent residence must be 100 miles or more from the hospital service area

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Notes

16 hours of nonbillable orientation
General orientation begins on Sundays
One shift may be canceled or called off biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed based on census or resource needs
