Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Med Surg experience
Med Surg experience within the last year
Trauma experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Work Setting

28-bed medical-surgical unit
Patient population includes general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and stroke care
Fast-paced unit environment

Important Assignment Notes

Not float
Not SDU/telemetry
Strict attendance policy: termination after 3 absences or arrivals more than 20 minutes late
References not required
Travel experience preferred
Local travelers are defined as those with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility
