Location

• Fort Wayne, Indiana

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks

Required Qualifications

• RN license for Indiana or compact RN license
• BLS through AHA
• At least 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary experience
• At least 1 year of experience at a like-sized facility with 450+ beds

Unit Details

• General medical and surgical units
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6
• Floats only to other medical units

Common Patient Population / Procedures

• Patients with chronic illnesses, GI issues, infections, neurological issues, and mental health disorders
• Procedures include colonoscopies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, bronchoscopy, and minor surgeries such as lap chole, incision and drainage, biopsies, and amputation

Orientation

• Jump Start orientation
• 1 day of general hospital orientation
• Approximately 5 days of nursing orientation
• Epic classes included

Additional Notes

• Caribbean Blue scrubs
• Local clinicians within 50 miles are subject to a 12% rate reduction
• Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours per 13-week assignment
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
