RN Family Birthing Center

Overview

• Contract RN role in Salida, Colorado.
• Night shift: 1800-0600, 24 hours per week.
• Weekends and holidays are required.
• Overtime is optional after 40 hours.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado.
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience).
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
• BLS.
• NRP.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS.

Role Summary

• Provides direct patient care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonate patients in the Family Birthing Center.
• Independently assesses and evaluates patient status, collaborates on care planning, provides education and counseling, assists with procedures, documents care, and supports a safe patient environment.
