Overview

Travel RN position in Reno, Nevada
13-week contract
Night shift, 3x12 schedule
36 guaranteed hours per week
No call required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nevada
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
Intermediate Care experience within the last year
One 13-week or more of total travel experience
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Neurology experience
Neuro ICU experience

Clinical Experience Needed

Experience with vasopressors
Experience with titratable drips
Experience with arterial lines
Experience with procedural sedation
Experience with thrombolytics
Experience with tracheostomy management

Schedule Expectations

May need to float within competency level
May be required to work weekends, holidays, and one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays

Unit Setting

Intermediate Care Unit with 18 beds
Cares for patients with severe but usually non-life-threatening conditions requiring moderately complex assessments and therapies
Serves adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
