Overview

• Travel assignment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
• Unit: Radiology
• Building: Main Campus
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

• CT Tech role performing routine CT exams for ED and IP patients
• Must be able to operate GE CT equipment independently
• The unit performs an average of 180 CT exams per day across 3 scanners
• Staffing described as 2 techs per scanner during the day and 3 techs overnight

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
• CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT
• BLS
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently

Preferred Qualifications

• CT preferred

Procedures / Patient Population

• Routine CT exams for ED and IP patients
• Trauma pan scans
• Head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA

Equipment

• GE 512
• GE 128
• GE 32 slice
