Registered Nurse (LTAC/Telemetry) - Travel Position

Job Description

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
• Work primarily in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Telemetry settings.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida.
• Minimum 1 year of Long Term Acute Care experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care.
• Knowledge of central lines.
