Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology (Travel)
Location: Portland, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel
Position Overview
- Role: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology
- Shift: Days
- Hours per Week: 48 hours (typically 9-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:30 or shifts from 07:00 to 17:30/14:30)
- Weekend Hours: Call only, with a maximum of 1-2 weeknights per week and every 6th weekend (Friday–Sunday) on call
- Float Requirements: None
Unit Information
- Procedure Rooms: 3
- Staffing Model: 2 technologists per procedure room, rotating between scrubbing and circulating during procedures
- Equipment: Siemens imaging systems
- EMR System: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Maine
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Neuro experience, including stroke and neuro interventions
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Vascular Interventional (VI) certification preferred
