Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer with a focus on Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) for a high-risk OB/GYN unit. The role involves performing vaginal and abdominal ultrasounds on OB/GYN patients, particularly those with high-risk pregnancies. The position requires independent work and a strong understanding of complex obstetrical sonography conditions.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekend hours
• No call requirements
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in OB-GYN Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) sonography, including recent experience within the last year
• Training completed at a hospital, vocational-technical institute, or military service
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required
• Experience with Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) imaging studies

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations focused on high-risk OB/GYN patients
• Evaluate patient tolerance for procedures
• Communicate diagnostic results with healthcare team members
• Provide ultrasound guidance during procedures
• Document diagnostic and patient data accurately in the medical record
• Assist with appropriate billing practices
