Registered Nurse - Case Management

Location: Largo, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily in case management units with a focus on discharge planning and patient coordination.
• Units may include psych/rehab and float assignments.
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
• Typical patient ratios approximately 25:1 for case management.
• Use of electronic medical records systems including Meditech and Midas.
• Ideal candidates have experience with complex discharge planning.
• Team includes RNs, case managers, social workers, CNAs, and sitters.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in case management, including experience within the last year.
• Experience with MEDITECH electronic medical record system.
• Assessment skills for case managers or understanding of USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk.
• Must be able to work in accordance with facility scheduling policies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meditech and Midas electronic medical record systems.
• Familiarity with complex discharge planning processes.
