Registered Nurse - Case Management

Location: Largo, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work primarily in case management units with a focus on discharge planning and patient coordination.
Units may include psych/rehab and float assignments.
Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
Typical patient ratios approximately 25:1 for case management.
Use of electronic medical records systems including Meditech and Midas.
Ideal candidates have experience with complex discharge planning.
Team includes RNs, case managers, social workers, CNAs, and sitters.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of case management experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with MEDITECH electronic medical record system
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
