Nurse Manager - Labor and Delivery

Location: Concord, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM with variable weekend call coverage
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

Oversee 24-hour operations of Labor and Delivery and Perinatal Education units
Ensure optimal staffing, skill mix, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs
Maintain and manage department schedules, staffing plans, and timecards
Lead daily shift huddles to align teams on patient care priorities and operational plans
Serve as Charge Nurse when working clinically
Weekend call coverage is required as part of the position but is not eligible for additional call pay

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year

Additional Information

This position involves 24/7 responsibility for the unit
Leadership and operational management experience in Labor and Delivery is essential
