Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical

Location: Anna, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), preferably weekends
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Float Requirements: Within similar Medical-Surgical units, not routine
On Call/Call Back: None

Unit Information

Licensed for 25 beds, typical census 15-18 beds
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-6 (flexed up to 1:6 occasionally)
Patient population: More medical than post-surgical cases, includes extended stay rehab swing beds
No high acuity patients on drips

Required Qualifications

Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
Experience with EPIC electronic charting system
