Registered Nurse — Neurology

Overview

• Travel assignment in Neenah, Wisconsin
• 13-week contract
• 12-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Start: ASAP

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Neurology (3 years of experience)
• Neurology experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• Stroke experience

Preferred Experience

• ICU or intermediate care experience
• Experience in stroke and post-op back/spine/cervical cases
• EPIC experience within the last year

Schedule and Work Setting

• Shift time: 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Up to every other weekend
• Holiday rotation based on unit need
• Float within skillset throughout the facility and to other facilities within a 60-mile radius
• No on-call or call-back requirements

Unit Focus

• Neurology patients, primarily post-stroke and post-op brain/neck/spine cases
• Also sees post-trauma, TBI, and some medical patients
• Typical patient ratio: 1:4

Additional Notes

• Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks
• 8-hour unbillable orientation
• Scrub color: black
