Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology

Location: New Britain, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Four 10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• No on-call required

Job Responsibilities & Experience

• Provide care related to cardiac ablations including A-FIB, A-Flutter, SVT, and PFA
• Manage device placement such as pacemakers, CRTs, MICRAs, and ILRs
• Deliver pre-procedure and post-procedure care for patient admission and recovery
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system
• Experience with CARTO and Claris mapping systems

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Connecticut
• Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Experience with Epic

Additional Information

• Must be willing to work at an additional medical center within the same health system region
