Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in California
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- 3 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced respiratory therapy care, including ventilator management, arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation, pulmonary function testing, aerosol and humidity therapy, and emergency response
- Serve as a lead practitioner and help train staff and nursing personnel
- Document care, maintain equipment, and support quality assurance activities
- Work with patients across the lifespan, including newborns through geriatric patients
