Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Mississippi
- Occupational Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Four-year bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
Role Highlights
- Provides occupational therapy services in an interdisciplinary acute care setting
- Evaluates patients and develops short- and long-term goals and plans of care
- Works with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Must be able to lift, handle, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to operate blood pressure, pulse oximetry, wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices
Work Environment
- OT staff do not float
- Typically 7 completed sessions daily, often evaluations
