Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing
Role Summary
- Provides direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning
- Performs comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
- Recognizes and responds to changes in patient condition
- Delegates and oversees patient care tasks appropriately
- Supports discharge planning and patient education
- Participates in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts
