Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, days

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Overview

Clinic RN traveler role in a heart and vascular clinic setting with no call and no weekends.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
3 years of clinic experience
Clinic experience within the last year
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
Experience in a clinic setting
Experience in an outpatient setting
Ambulatory care experience
Experience with Epic

Key Responsibilities

Triage and assess patient concerns
Provide care coordination across cardiology services
Assist with exercise stress tests and tilt table tests
Perform EKGs and manage heart monitoring equipment
Start IVs for diagnostic testing
Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans
Occasionally assist with patient rooming in clinic

Additional Notes

Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
CAPS registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain
