Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit (NT/SICU) – Day Shift

Location: Chico, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 12 hours (7:00 AM start)
Hours per Week: 36

Unit and Patient Population

Level II trauma NT/SICU unit with 12 beds and a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
Specializes in neuro/trauma patients
Care for patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
May float to Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Minimum 5 years of Neuro ICU experience, including experience within the last year
Trauma experience in a Level II trauma critical care setting
One completed travel nursing assignment with previous traveler experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic electronic charting system

Additional Information

Must be a W-2 employee of the staffing agency
Flexibility to float between Med/Surg and Critical Care units as needed
