Location: Herrin, Illinois
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Work primarily on Ortho and North Surgical units
Every other weekend required
Possibility of floating to other Med-Surg departments as needed
Floating assignments limited to clinically appropriate units within scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
Minimum of 2 years of orthopedics nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Prior travel experience is not specified as required
Floating may include various medical-surgical units, including PCU, Acute Rehab, Step Down ICU, and ICU settings, with corresponding certification requirements as noted above
Night shift position with weekend and floating responsibilities
