Required Qualifications

Histology Technologist with 1 year of experience.
Histology Technologist experience within the last year.
ASCP.

Role Details

Responsible for prompt, efficient, and accurate performance of histological procedures on tissue specimens.
Identifies and processes tissue specimens received in anatomic pathology.
Assists the pathologist with gross examination, frozen section preparation, and special histochemical staining.
Processes, cuts, stains, and delivers prepared slides for microscopic examination.
Prepares slides or anatomical material for consultation or processing.
Files and stores tissue slides and blocks for retrieval and retention.
