We are seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist for a contract position lasting a minimum of 13 weeks. Candidates should possess experience in various surgical specialties.

<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
 <li>Assist in various surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including:</li>
 <ul>
 <li>General Surgery</li>
 <li>Orthopedics</li>
 <li>ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)</li>
 <li>OBGYN (Obstetrics and Gynecology)</li>
 <li>Podiatry</li>
 <li>Urology</li>
 <li>Dental</li>
 </ul>
</ul>

<h2>Requirements</h2>
<ul>
 <li>Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program</li>
 <li>Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred</li>
 <li>State of Iowa Mandatory Reporter training</li>
 <li>Current American Heart Association BLS certification</li>
 <li>Willingness to stay within 30 minutes of the facility when on-call</li>

<h2>Schedule</h2>
This position primarily involves 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Hours may vary slightly based on surgical caseload, with the possibility of starting as early as 6:00 AM. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation, approximately one night every two weeks, and one weekend every five to six weeks. Holiday call rotation is also included.
