Registered Nurse (PCU Telemetry)

Kearney, Nebraska

Contract Details

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Patient ratio: 1:4
Unit size: 21 beds

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with telemetry monitoring.
Float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed.
May float to ICU for PCU patient status only.
Care for many cardiac patients, including post-Cath Lab patients.

Required Qualifications

Current Nebraska or multi-state compact RN license.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC), NIHSS.
Experience: PCU/Telemetry nursing experience required.
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend, if needed.
May be required to work up to 2 extra shifts per 6 weeks.

Additional Information

This is a traveler-friendly facility.
Floating responsibilities include Med Surg and ICU (for PCU patients only).
