Sonographer Position

Location: Weston, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Department has 3 ultrasound scanners/rooms.
• Coverage required for multiple centers including Weston, Wausau, and Merrill.
• Common imaging/studies: General ultrasound exams, breast imaging; vascular imaging is a plus.
• Experience required with 2nd and 3rd trimester scans.
• EMR/PACS systems used: Cerner EMR and Sectra PACS.
• Equipment includes GE (Weston), Philips (Wausau/Merrill), and Siemens (Stevens Point).
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used.
• Radiologist available in-house.
• IV starts are not required.
• Shifts: 8-hour day shifts, varying between 6:30 am to 5:00 pm.
• Weekend and weeknight call rotation required (on-call for weekends and holidays).
• Dress code: Any color scrubs, clean and professional. Scrubs are not specified as provided.
• Orientation provided at Weston location.
• Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• ARDMS certification required.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
• Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography.

Additional Notes

• Prior work with this employer requires a minimum 6-month gap before reapplying.
• On-call responsibilities include weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

This opportunity is suitable for sonographers with ARDMS certification and experience in OB ultrasound, comfortable with call rotations and multi-site coverage.
