Overview
- Specialty: GI Tech
- Location: Northridge, California
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift
- Hours: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- Schedule: Monday–Friday with variable hours
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS
- California license
- 2 years of experience in the specialty
- Surgical Technician graduate from a formal training program or 1 year of experience as a GI Lab technician
Work Details
- Unit: Endoscopy / GI Lab
- 2 procedure suites
- Team staffing: 3-person teams
- No floating
Call Requirements
- Call/standby required
- Weeknight call required
- Weekend call required
- 30-minute call response time
Common Procedures
- ERCP
- EGD
- Bronchoscopy
Key Duties
- Prepare the room and equipment before endoscopic procedures
- Clean up and sterilize equipment afterward
- Assist nurses and the doctor during procedures
