Registered Nurse – Operating Room

• Canton, Mississippi

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Days
• 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday
• Call: 2 weekdays and 1 weekend per month

Required Qualifications

• Active RN role
• 2 years of experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification for pediatric cases
• Flu vaccine required, with only a documented medical exemption allowed
• Fingerprint requirement must be completed through the remote process with 10 days allowed, or in person at Jackson or Grenada campus the week prior to start
• Must be proficient in Epic charting

Unit Details

• 67-bed facility
• 4 operating rooms and 1 procedure room
• 15–22 cases per day
• Case mix includes general surgery, ortho fractures and scopes, plastics, GI, urology, pediatric dental, and surgical oncology

Orientation

• On-unit orientation
• HealthStream virtual education
• 1 week of unit orientation

Additional Notes

• 50-mile radius rule for travelers
• Local candidates accepted
