Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Canton, Mississippi

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Days
6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday
Call: 2 weekdays and 1 weekend per month

Required Qualifications

Active RN role
2 years of experience
BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS certification for pediatric cases
Flu vaccine required, with only a documented medical exemption allowed
Fingerprint requirement must be completed through the remote process with 10 days allowed, or in person at Jackson or Grenada campus the week prior to start
Must be proficient in Epic charting

Unit Details

67-bed facility
4 operating rooms and 1 procedure room
15–22 cases per day
Case mix includes general surgery, ortho fractures and scopes, plastics, GI, urology, pediatric dental, and surgical oncology

Orientation

On-unit orientation
HealthStream virtual education
1 week of unit orientation
