Role

• RN (Registered Nurse)
• 9 Tower Renal is primarily a renal telemetry unit.

Contract

• 6 weeks
• Days
• 12 hours per day
• 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• First to float

Required Qualifications

• ACLS
• BLS Certification
• NIHSS
• EPIC Required
• Open to floating; floating will require cardiac drip experience
• Flexible with scheduling; no self scheduling
• 3+ years of experience
• Prior travel experience
• Experience working in a very busy hospital

Unit Details

• Focus on renal and neurology diseases
• The unit carries a variety of med-surg patients, including end stage renal disease, pre- and post-surgery, GI complications, cardiac, and hepatology
• The unit gives blood transfusions, blood specimens, dressing changes, central lines, and foley care
• Mostly elderly patients above 65 years old
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is usually 1:5/6
• PCA ratio is 1:15
• Unit capacity is 30 beds
