Unit size: Acute 36 beds, Subacute 54 beds, 6 trauma bays
Patient ratio: 1:4
Charge coverage: 2 charge RNs
Support: 4 PCTs for sitters
Tele monitoring: Phillips monitors; must be able to read strips
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month
Floating: May float between St. Joseph’s Main, St. Joseph’s Westgate, AZ General Laveen, and free-standing ERs in Litchfield Park and Glendale
Scrub color: Navy
RT / Pharmacy: RT 24/7; Pharmacy 24/7
Common patient types: Trauma, burns, and pediatric transfers out
