Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position
Location: Lewiston, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
- Evaluate patients and develop/implement treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Support patient and family education to promote functional independence and patient-centered outcomes.
- Coverage includes outpatient, inpatient, and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU).
- Position covers maternity leave starting in April.
Requirements
- Licensure: Must have an active Idaho SLP license.
- Certifications: BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a rehab or ARU setting.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM with rotating Saturdays.

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Candidates must be prepared to submit detailed documentation including certifications and experience.
- Experience with community hospital settings (permanent or contract) is queried but not mandatory.
