• Department: Respiratory Therapy
• Number of Staff: 50

  • Day Shift: 1 supervisor, 7-9 staff
  • Night Shift: 1 supervisor, 7-9 staff
• Patient Ratios: Assignments based on volume, approximately 35-40 patients per shift
• Type of Equipment: GE ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, Airvo HFNC
• EMR System: Meditech
• Permanent Positions Available: Yes

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills

• Adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting

Preferred Skills

• Adult critical care experience (ICU, ED)

Typical Procedures Performed

• Standard RT procedures including:

  • Nebulizers
  • CPT (Chest Physiotherapy)
  • Arterial blood gases
  • Ventilator management
  • Inhaled nitric oxide
  • Bronchoscopy assistance
  • Intubation assistance
  • Transporting patients with mechanical ventilation within the hospital
