Qualifications

Required Certifications:
- ARRT (R)(CT)
- BLS (Must be through AHA)
Experience: New graduates accepted
Float Requirements: Yes, to radiology
Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience with trauma, biopsies, CT drainage
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Not specified
Common Patient Population: All ages

Equipment and Technology

CT Scanners: 2 at main campus, 1 at outpatient center
EHR System: Cerner

Pros

Unit is comprised of many travelers. Core staff and travelers have all been fantastic! The unit is set up quite well to manage the surges of patients. It is the only main hospital around so it can definitely provide good experience. Most of the providers I've encountered over the last couple months actually listen to the nurses and are easy to work with.

Cons

It is definitely busy before the size of the town. I can't say I have any other cons.
