Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM), 3x12-hour shifts, alternating weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Call: No call required
Scheduling: No 48-hour option, no block scheduling
Floating: Floating to lab duties required

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosis and monitoring of diseases.
• Follow standardized procedures and prepare samples for testing.
• Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits.
• Work involves limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.
• Familiarity with Chemistry, Hematology, and Blood Bank experience preferred.
• Use of Cerner EMR system.
• Scrub color: Gray.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Medical Lab Technician license in Tennessee.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year.
• Certification as MLT, ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HHS.
• Completion of high school or its equivalent, or a bachelor's degree.
