Patient Population: Adults (including COPD, Chest Pain, Cardiac drips)
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 3 patients
Unit Beds: 10
Equipment Used: Mindray
Electronic Health Record (EHR): MediTech

Required Certifications & Licenses

Valid RN license in Iowa
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience within the last year

Education Requirements

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

Must have Iowa SING background check clearance including criminal and child abuse portions (no exceptions)
All background checks (county and state) must be fully cleared prior to start; instant or statewide searches are not accepted
Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult required
Drug test must be a 10-panel screening including opiates
Titers must be current within the last 12 months
Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday
