Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekend work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• No call requirements

Unit Overview

• Unit Type: Respiratory Therapy covering ICU, Med Surg, ER, and NICU
• Number of Beds: 160
• Staff: Approximately 28 total; Night shift staffing 4 to 4.5 minimum
• Patient Ratios: RVU system
• Equipment Used: PB vents, Drager V500, Aerogon’s, V60 Bipap, Heated High Flow Nasal Cannula (HHFNC), Hamilton C transport ventilators, Oscillator, Jet ventilators, Nitric oxide delivery
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Indiana
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NRP

Preferred Attributes

• Ability to manage heavy patient loads and high acuity cases
• Independent, self-motivated, and willing to assist with higher acuity patients
• Comfortable working in a Level 3 NICU environment

• Scrubs color: Pewter Gray
