Day Shift Staff: 16 Full-Time RNs, 1 Part-Time RN, 2 pending RNs, 5 PRN team members, 1 OR analyst
Night Shift Staff: None
Patient Ratio: 1:1 in OR
Equipment Used: Brain Lab, DaVinci surgical system, Microscope
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support)

Skills

Must have: RN and/or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) skills
Preferred: Experience as RN and/or CST

Work Environment & Policies

Dress Code: Hospital scrubs
Call Shifts: Mandatory based on unit needs
- Weekend call shifts: 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am
- Weekday call shifts: 3pm–7am
